Art ♡ Sport

This collage serie is a manifesto to sportart. There is a secret love connection between the worlds of sport and art. Secret because often in society they are seen as two different worlds that can't be combined. Something about high and low culture and the elite and the masses. And more of that type of BS. Therefore I made this visual manifesto to show that sportart is for real, is here to stay and it's time the art world recognises. The collages are a combination of artworks of some of the best sport artists around (Adam Lister, David Diehl, Ryan Simpson and Marcus Marritt), photos of the athletes doing what they do best, combined in existing museum and gallery decors. 

Let's not hide this love connection anymore.
